Hi all, Just a couple questions about physician assistants. Do they get reimbursed the same fees as a physician? And what are the requirements as far as a physician "overseeing"? Does a physician need to be in the office when services are performed by a PA?

That was great! Thank you Kristin. I was curious, because my son went to a dermatologist, requested to see a physician and was told that they weren't on the premises, they only did surgery in the hospital. He saw a PA only. I do physician billing, but wasn't familiar with the requirements for PA billing. Thanks again
