DOI & DOS

I got a funny payor response through my clearing house today.  Items were billed on 12/20, so should not be a 5010 issue. But maybe.....

I got claims rejected because they say the DOI can't be the same as the DOS?  Whaaaa?

It could be... from what I have read.. payors had the easiest time because all they had to do was be ready to ACCEPT 5010, so payers were ready so it was up to vendors and clearinghouse's..  with that said I would contact the clearinghouse first and see what they say.
