Recommendation about a website to check patient's eligibility?
« on: February 22, 2010, 03:21:29 PM »
Can someone recommend a website that can check patient's eligibility? It would be best if it's free.  Thanks so much in advance.

There's also Navinet.com. I use it just to check benefits and elig. There's also Office Ally. Both are free.

In Pennsylvania we use PA Medicaid's website - Promise. It shows Primary, Secondary and Tertiary insurances.

We use ecare.com in our office but we sometimes have problems with them not being properly updated.

Most any major insurance company will have their own website that you can get access to verify eligibility by inputting your providers information.  I use Navinet - gives access to Aetna & Cigna free - Medicare you would have to pay extra, United Healthcare has a free website, and here in TN the BCBS of TN has their own website with free access to eligibility checks as well as electronic remits for EFTs.  Good Luck! :)

I have Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield of California, United Healthcare, ASHP, and Navinet all bookmarked on my computer.  Their sites are all pretty good.  Not just for elibility but for benefits too.
