Will any insurance company pay for an interpreter for a patient that is deaf?

Unfortunately most insurance carriers do not cover the cost of an interpreter.

You might want to call the carriers, I think over past few years cases were won based on the American's With Disabilities ACT

My understanding is that the physician is responsible for paying the cost for the interpreter, it is not a covered expense under insurance.
