Home Health Billing
« on: August 29, 2014, 12:16:06 PM »
Can anyone give me suggestions for home health billing software that is inexpensive? We are looking at doing the billing for a new office that will be opening within a month and he will be using ClearCare to send time sheets to us and wants us to create claims and submit using those. This is our first time billing for home health so we aren't sure what the best option is. Thank you for your help!

What are you using to bill for everything else?  If they don't have a practice management system that they want you to use I would keep what you have.  I'm not familiar with a software that is specific to Home Health.

Are you billing for a Home Health Agency? Just need the clarification? I don't see why you would need special software.

You can look at NowMD which is only $349 and an excellent product. In fact, we like it so much that we use it in our www.medicalbillingstudycourse.com
to train students on using practice management software. And as a member of this forum, you can get 10% off if you contact me.

I am currently working in Home Health Company and we are using Citrix. You can also use MediTech or PTCT, Mysis both of these software are friendly user. May I know how many user are going to use?

Thank you everyone for your responses. After visiting more with this client, they are doing all non-medical personal care. ClearCare is supposed to be set up to send those claims directly to Medicaid; therefore we will not need another system. I apologize for the tardy reply; been trying to get more things in our pipeline. I will start the training on ClearCare as soon as this potential client signs a contract and can update for others who want to know as to how easy ClearCare is to use for this non-medical side of things. Have a wonderful Monday!

I have a question on Home Health I just sign up as an independent biller with a Home health Dr, to say the least very cheap.
I was told to sign with and NGS and PC PROACE 32, can somebody tell me what this is. I am familiar with NGS but not sure what PC Pro ace 32 is for do they do the same? why do I need two software?
