Space 29, Amount Paid
« on: November 19, 2009, 03:26:24 PM »
For non-assignments, Kaiser wants field 29 filled in to show how much the patient has paid. Otherwise, Kaiser sends a non-assigned check to our office, because they think we have not been paid by the patient. Where does field 29 information come from?  We use InPhase to print claim forms.

Field 29 is the "paid amount".  I'm not familiar with your software but when you enter the claim if you enter a patient payment it should show up in box 29.  There may be something you need to check when you are printing to indicate that you want payments to print on the form (that's how my software works).
