Title: Onset Date BCBS TX

BCBS TX required onset date on Office claim. I am not sure BCBS TX required onset date for hospital claims as well?? If anyone know about this. Please help me.

Are they asking for hospitalization dates or onset dates?  Are they for hospital services?  If they require it you really don't have an option.  Onset date goes in box 14.

Yes, I am asking about hospital services. Will insurance BCBS TX pay Hospital claims if submit without onset date?

Based on your original post I would say no.  But most insurance carriers require the admission and discharge dates when billing for hospital visits.
