Marketing Materials

Hi everyone,

I'm a new billing company (08/2012) and am just now getting to the point that I can take on some more clients.  I am working on my website, just had my logo designed so am ordering business cards, I've created some literature I want to send to potential clients but I'm wondering if ordering things like magnets, ink pens, post it pads, etc have been effective for anyone?  What about car magnets? Window decals?  I definitely don't think it can  hurt, but I'm not sure how many people are really going to see my car magnet and want to call, its not like I'm selling chocolate! lol

Any input would be appreciated.

I've done many promotional items. The ones I think were the biggest hit were the clip boards. I had my logo and business information made into a transparency and bought plain white clip boards and placed the transparency stickers on front and back of clip board. With it came a pen with my business name and phone number.   I STILL to this day will get a call from them and I did them like 2 years ago.  I've also done coffee cups but spruced em up with some great things from starbucks.   Later on I got a bit fancier and would actually take potential clients to dinner or lunch but only ones I had a good shot with that would be worth the expense.  Being creative is good but there is such a thing as too much.   K I S S
