Hello give you a little background I just stated medical billing school, and I need help with some diagnoses codes
I listed the codes I found at the end for this diagnoses. Have I missed anything? I won't quote anyone body on this just need help to see if it has been done correct

"A patient presents in the physician's office with a vague complaint of not feeling well. The physician notices that the patient has ataxia ( a staggering gait). After reviewing the patients history, the physician determines the ataxia is due to the meprobamate the patient is taking.

Not a CPC here, but here are my thoughts...your second code is not to the highest level of specificity as needed, but your third code is, because it specifies the class of drug that is causing the adverse affect of ataxia. But you have a D on it, when it should be an A, if the patient is receiving active treatment for the adverse affect. I would drop the second code entirely, and use the third code, with an A, if it is active treatment.

The ataxia code seems fine.
