So far no response to my request for the audit or all my claims.

I did hear from one of the medical assistants late Friday who I work with regularly and have let known by concerns about some of their tactics, that despite the evidence I have presented to them at least on the 94760, she said they advised all audiologists and optometrists in an email Friday to start to bill for 94760 as well, I was not included on this email so I assume it is to circumvent me.

The company is based out of Phoenix, AZ, I should clarify and this is where the bulk of their operations are, they just expanded into Nevada and there is only one each of us in podiatry, audiology and optometry out here as of now.

Well I was terminated on Monday for being "detrimental" to the company.  Unfortunately, I guess that means it is with cause and as such will make obtaining unemployment difficult as well as potentially having to self report to my medical board but in my opinion it is for good cause.  So be it.

However, I was also contacted today by the AZ Provider Compliance Officer of the AZ OIG.  As the billing manager specifically mentioned AZ AHCCCS as paying out for the pulse ox I actually went to the source and inquired with AHCCCS if this was true and in what manner it would be reimbursed for podiatry via there Medical Coding/Data Validation Manager.  I guess the information I supplied was enough for her to go higher up and report this. 

So we will see how it unfolds.....
