PM Software with reasonable pricing

Hello,

For using a billing software I pay $50/TIN/month + $65/user/month. For clearinghouse fees, I pay $0.10/claim. All ERAs are free.

I'm still not clear on how these fees are effecting your bottom line so it might be something else, as again, I don't think those prices are way out of line. I would look at the whole picture including expenses, time spent per client, rates, contract, etc..
How are you charging? Are you spending more time than you should for the amounts you are charging. If you are billing on a % there is always risk of under or overcharging.

How many claims are you doing in a month?  $0.10 seems reasonable but there are clearinghouses that charge a flat monthly fee regardless of the volume so I'm wondering if your volume is high it may be a good move to switch.

Cpatel:
As of now it is about 2500 to 3K claims / month. Going to raise to 6 to 7 k in couple of months. I am looking into Claim MD for clearinghouse switch.

I am concerned about PM system charges. currently I am paying $15k/year just for billing software. Clearing house is additional. Do you think that I am paying more for Billing software?

Michele:
Wow, I don't know if I'm spoiled or what but that seems VERY high.  We have a server based software that costs us under $3000 per year and that allows us to bill for unlimited providers.    Our clearinghouse only costs us $100 per month and we are sending over 6000 claims per month.

Changing software is a huge pain.  What system are you using?
