Taxonomy - need to change?

Hello - I wanted to see if anyone could give any insight to a provider joining our practice and if I need to change his taxonomy. I looked up NPI on NPPES and show his taxonomy is listed as "261QP2000X - Clinic/Center Physical Therapy." He currently works for a large hospitals smaller physical therapy clinics, they have several of them around town. Our practice is a smaller one office, he'll be the only physical therapist (with two chiropractors) and it'll be billed under our office TIN and NPI. Do I need to change his taxonomy to "225100000X - Physical Therapist" or does it make a difference?

Some insurance carriers do use the taxonomy code when processing claims. It is fairly easy to change/add a taxonomy code. You just need to log into the NPPES system and go to that section. You are able to change or add taxonomy codes.

Other recent studies have shown that activation of the mitogen activated protein kinase pathway, especially through ligand activated tyrosine kinase receptors at the cell surface, can downregulate ER expression in a reversible manner 25 <a href=https://lasix.mom>online lasix</a> Chorionic Gonadotropin Injection Ip
