Speech Therapy Extended Evaluations

If a speech pathologist had performed the 92523 evaluation, but additional time / testing is necessary to complete the evaluation, can 96112 or 96125 be used on a separate date to bill for the extended testing? We've been all over and haven't found a definitive answer to this.

I am not a certified coder.  I see nothing indicating that you can't perform a 96112 or 96125 on a separate date. If you perform it on the same date it can be billed, however, some plans may not allow the 96112 or 96125 on the same date as the evaluation.  But I did not see anything indicating they can't be done on the same date.  Being done on a separate date should not be any issue though, which is what you are asking.
