Flyer
« on: January 18, 2022, 12:11:46 AM »
Hello,
I was wondering if anyone would be willing to share their flyer for their medical billing business? I have searched online a bit and through these boards but thought I would create a new topic. I am starting my own medical billing business and just want to get a idea on how a flyer would look.

I'm not sure if you're referring to a paper flyer or an internet ad. I used to do paper flyers, but they didn't attract much business. I found much more success with a professionally designed postcard, and even more success with doing 500 cold call contacts a month. If you're a new business it's tough to attract clients, but once you have a few, it starts to get easier.

I agree with williamportor.

What type of flyer are you trying to create?  What type of business are you looking for?  A certain specialty?  An online flyer or a paper flyer?

Thank you two for the advice!
Yes, I am a new business and I am trying to attract my first client. I don't have a specific specialty yet but I was recommended to approach psych first since those are easier claims to bill.
I was thinking of an online flyer that I can email to office managers. My strategy is to go on job search engines (indeed, linkedin etc) and find open "Medical Billing positions" but instead send in my companies info to try and go that route. Any advice that anyone can offer would be appreciated, thanks!

Mental health is a good field to start wiith.  Especially with all that is going on.  Mental health providers are swamped with clients and they don't always need office staff so many try to bill themselves, but are finding that impossible. We have never done an online flyer so I don't have any example to share.  Did you try googling them to see if anything comes up?  I would focus on how important it is to have someone making sure all gets paid that is due, and not having someone in the office.  But push that you are accessible and I"m not sure if this applies to you, but we have several of us so I advise that even if someone gets sick, your work will get done.
