LLC or Independent contractor?

After some research I'm stuck between forming an LLC or starting as an Independent contractor. I've been wanting to have my own medical billing business for years now, but have been procrastinating due to fear and not knowing how to start. I'm starting from scratch, no employees, little investment funds and location would be my apartment.
I would take any suggestions or advice please 🙏🏽

The biggest concern for me, if I was in your situation, would be what the tax implications are. And for that...you need a good/trusted accountant to guide you.

Generally speaking though, if you are establishing a business, you are looking at forming an LLC.

IC's (of which I have been one in the past, for many years) work for another business, and not their own business.
