Patient acknowledgment of being Out of Network
« on: March 22, 2022, 11:51:39 PM »
Is anyone receiving pushback from payers stating that documentation has to be provided to patient regarding being out of network? We have financial agreements which state it on admission but ever since the No Surprises Act it seems they are requiring some standardized form? We don’t qualify as a facility that would be included in the No Surprises Act..

I have not heard of any pushback like this.  I would just document in the patient's chart that you are out of network and have them acknowledge/sign it.
