Can anyone help with North Carolina Medicaid & HCPCS code 97014 with G0283

I need to know for North Carolina Medicaid & HCPCS code 97014 to we need to bill with HCPCS code G0283 the same as Medicare or is there another code that can be billed to Medicaid in its place....

Hi Mary,

   I am in NY and I’ve never billed NC Medicaid.  I tried to find out for you but was unable to pull it up.  What I would do is call the Medicaid office and ask if G0283 is a reimbursable code (I think it is the one you should use).  If not, ask about the 97014.  They should be able to tell you which one is the right one to use.

Sorry I couldn’t help more.  Maybe someone else has a better answer to this one.  That's the purpose of starting this forum.  Does anyone else have any experience with this?
