Tax Id # and Employer ID #

Hi Michele;

I wanted to thank you for being there for me.    I have a home based billing business and I'm just starting out.    thank you .


I am a little confused between Tax Id # and Employer ID#.      For billing purposes do I only need the Tax ID # and NPI# ?

Yes you would only need the tax id and npi for now....

Also, EIN and Tax ID are the same thing.  It's the number they use to report income to the IRS.  (in layman's terms)
