Solo to Group for Medicare
« on: June 01, 2023, 01:28:57 PM »
I have a solo MCR participating provider who recently formed a group (has new NPI & EIN). I updated his individual enrollment through PECOS by reassigning benefits to the new group, updated the organization control, and added new bank account linked to the group. My question is, does the group itself need to be enrolled with Medicare (a whole new application), or are we essentially enrolling the group with the info included on the individual application? Thank you for your input
