PMBS:
Good Morning,

I wanted to know if there is a specific modifier that can be used if a patient is seen during a global period for a different problem.

Example pt comes in and doctor does I & R then comes in 3 days later for another problem.  Can I bill that and get paid for it?

I think the modifier you are looking for is 24 - Unrelated E&M service by the same physician during a postoperative period.

Hello,

You can also use 79 - Unrelated procedure during post op period for minor in-office procedure which is category as surgery.
