We are a subspecialty clinic in a Family medicine organization with their tax ID number. When seeing a new patient for us as but they are established with the organization, we are forced to bill as an established patient which causes us to lose revenue.
Is this not an ethical or a fraud issue? There has to be a precedent for this type of relationship.?
