Does anyone use the medisoft software? What are your feelings on it? It is much more reasonably priced, and it seems to fit my budget at this time? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I haven't personally used Medisoft for my own billing purposes, but I have worked on Medisoft to help out some of my providers who use it.  It seems to be a reliable software that is fairly easy to use.  It is very similar to Lytec which is what I use for my providers and I like it.  It's been around for a long time so it's a safe choice.

I have used Medisoft in the past. I liked it but I think MediWare was a lot more efficient and the statements were extremely patient friendly. I currently work in Micro4....it is terrible. Stay clear of Micro4!!

I work on Medisoft right now, have for quite a few years, I love the program! It's very user friendly and easy to figure out. The co that I worked for for about two years had the program and i was able to install it, set it up and trouble shoot it on my own. I was also able to train everyone in the office on it without ever getting any formal training myself. I'd definately recommend it.

You can also alter your patient statements, somewhat, to make them more user friendly.
