Hi there...just wondering if there's a time limit on when a patient can get glasses after cataract surgery. A year from the date of service (cataract surgery)? A year after the post-op refraction? Thanks.

Hi,
Patient's are entitled to one pair of glasses following cataract surgery, there is no time limit on when they have to get them. We have had patient's that were not aware that they were covered by Medicare and didn't get the glasses for YEARS after the surgery. So that is nice!
