This site is so awesome.  I am a new start up and just reading all the infomation given in the comments are such a blessing. I am in the marketing stages. I need to have copies of contracts when I do have a doctor that will sign with me. Where do I go to find a general one that I can tweak as needed. I have found a few on line just by searching google. Does anyone have any recommendations.

Angela,
You can find samples on the internet but it's my opinion that it's in YOUR best interest to seek the advice of an attorney. The ones you will find on the internet are 2-3 pages best and won't even begin to cover all the necessary things your contract has to have. MANY of us have had to learn the hard way by using those sample contracts.

Linda, Thanks much for your advice.

Linda is on the money.  Most Ive seen are very incomplete.  Some dont discuss termination.  Many forum questions are what does the biller do when terminated.  Our lawyer created a 20 page contract.  The majority of the contract was what to do when terminating the billing company.  So pay the $125 for an atorneys advice.  As is said.  A person that represents themselves has a fool for an attorney.   If the contract dont fit, you need to acquit.  And you cant us the Chewbacka defense.
