I need to bill for medical supplies for the first time for a physical therapist (i.e. knee/back/wrist braces). Do insurance companies reimburse for these types of supplies?

Some do, some don't. It depends on the individual plan. You should call to check so that if they don't you can advise the patient what the cost will be.
