What do you charge for a PPD?  We have been charging $15 flat rate which includes the follow-up for reading the test.  That seems a bit low to me.

Michele:
It depends on the area of the country you are in, but that does seem a bit low.  I would look at the reimbursement you are receiving from the insurance carriers.  If they are allowing the full $15 then that is a good indication that you are low.  That indicates that the fee schedule amount is higher than your charge.

We are in a rural area but the going rate here is $20-$25.
