CPT code for 'test injection' prior to destruction by neurolytic agent

We have a new pain mgmt doc coming on staff and he's going to be billing more extensive pain mgmt procedures than I'm used to coding for so I was hopings someone might be able to help me out with this one;

I was told prior to performing the destruction by neurolytic agent, paravertebral facet joint, a 'test run' is done to ensure the correct nerve is accessed. Is this correct? And if so, what CPT code is used to bill for this service?  ???
