Billing for Physical Therapy Certificaton

Hi All...

Does anyone out there know if a Physician can bill for the certification of a Physical Therapy plan of care??  My Physician is adamant that he can be reimbursed for this, but I can find no information anywhere, and I am unfamiliar with PT billing...this is something new we are trying...

I have seen where a Physician can bill for Care Plan oversight, but I believe this is something all together different....our pt's are not in a NH, SNF or Hospice...

Any information or help will be appreciated..

I am not aware of a CPT code for this, unless it is for home health care.
