Wound Care/Debridment Follow Up Visits

What is the correct billing for :  pt comes in with abcess, doctor performs I&D wants the patient to followup next day for wound care and antibotic injection.  I have had problems with getting this paid, they are stating its a global service. 

Michele:
The I&D code has a certain number of days that are considered within the global period so if billing for services within that period for the same problem will be denied.  There isn't another way to bill it.
