Medicaid

When I called to Medicaid of ny to know the claims status they were saying claims in process and cycle no.some 1234. What is exactly cyle no. means? Can any one help?

Medicaid assigns a cycle number every time they 'process' a batch of claims.  It is just an internal NY Medicaid number.  When the payment comes the cycle number is on the eob.

Further this is the Hint for yourself.

We can track # of claims hit into Medicaid system for processing. from the original transmittion

Additionally, are you getting scrubber report for the transmittion, this will give a details on # of claims received, rejections.
