We had a patient scheduled for endometrial biopsy, but it was canceled, but the Dr. canceled appt due to pt may be pregnant and will reschedule procedure at a later time, but did spend ftf time so do i bill endometrial with a modifer 52 for canceled procedures and bill as Eval & Mgmt, or just bill it just as an Eval & Mgmt. I'm new @ coding so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Unless you are a coder, the dr needs to make the call on this one.  Explain both to the dr and ask which is appropriate for the situation.
