I own the software.. if your claim didn't go through you would have the claim marqued as "Failed Rules". If you open the encounter, you'll see the message date, the code and the explanation (e.g Daq00556: Missing or invalid Referring Provider NPI ) at the bottom of the encounter. Let me know if that's what you're looking for..

Wish you luck.

bgbgoodman,

Can you tell me how you like DAQbilling?  I am looking into purchasing DAQbilling.   Is it pretty easy to use?  I plan to specialize in mental health, how is the managed care tracking capability and the reports?  Also, is there a way to alert you if you schedule a patient with the wrong provider, i.e. a patient sees one provider for individual therapy but another for family therapy, does it let you know if you have scheduled the wrong patient id with the wrong provider?  The practice I used to work for used SOS and it had this capabiility, which I liked.

Any feelings on the software would be GREATLY appreciated.  I have not found anyone who actually uses the software for some input.

I personally love it but I don't use the scheduler for the moment. Pricey if you don't have enough claims to send (at this point Kareo would be better). The best is to purchase this software when you already have a client and enough work.. Try a demo and see how you like it: http://www.antekhealthware.com/products/daqbilling/requestdemo/index.php

Yes it is a bit pricey.  I have one provider that wants me to do her billing but she has just started one day a week away from the current practice she is with so there won't be much in the beginning.  But, the practice she is with I am hoping to sign them as well.  They have about 15 active providers so the volume is there.  I should mention that I currently do their transcription and I used to run their 3 offices, but I moved away due to my husband's military committment.  We will be returning to the same area next year and I hope to gain their business by the summer so I am thinking that I should just get something that can handle the volume from the get go rather than starting with one only to have to switch within 6 months to a year and going through the data conversion.  Do you like all the reporting capabilities?  Do you use the manage care function?

If there is anyone else out that uses DAQbilling I should would love to hear pros and cons.  And if anyone has clients that use the scheduuler feature; how do they like it?
