medisoft version 15 statements and credits

I am using medisoft Version 15 and every time I create Statements it creates statement for insurance balances also. Sometimes thats the only balance on the account and it is still generating a statement for the patient. I do not know how to fix this problem Can any one help me. 
Also I have pts account with showing credits on their accounts but all dates of service are showing zero balance and no credits
Does any one know where these credits might be generating from and how to fix.
Please help this is very frustrating.

I don't use medisoft, but in my software there is a report set up and you can change specifications to show exactly what you want....I would imagine your software has something very similar
