I've been doing billing for PT, OT and ST therapists for 4 years from home I use EZclaim (get the advanced version) It works fine.  The patient statements are not great, but for what I do, it's ok. 
Also, use Office Ally for my electronic billing.

Michele is right, IVANS charge a monthly fee depending on what services you want them to provide for you.

I use IVANS at home for home health billing for the state of Michigan. You can choose to use their lime portal access for claims submission and everything for a fee or you can stick to their AT&T internet dial-up access.

You do not have to be a provider to sign up with IVANS, you will be a "THIRD PARTY" however you will need the provider you will be billing for to get you access and registered with medicare for your own userid and password into FISS /FSSO
