Media interviews and exposure
melissa_2004:
Hi all,
I received a opportunity this week to do an interview segment with a local news station in my area. (OK, the number 1 news station in the area). The segment is about Smart Money Tips and the focus of the interview was regarding uninsured patients working out payments arrangements with their provider offices and payment options that may be available that patients never ask about or are unaware of.
I will get to the point now. I think the interview went great. There was 2 hours of footage that will be edited down into 1 minute and 30 seconds so I am concerned that the correct message get across. Can anyone share their thoughts on media interviews, the exposure it may bring and anything else you can think of? I guess I'm going to be on pins and needles until it airs. (In about 2 weeks)
Thanks,
Michele:
Congratulations! Sounds like a great opportunity. It is always nerve wracking when you are unsure of the final product. But from what you are saying it sounds like it should be fine. In my opinion, exposure is good. I would say any exposure is good as most people say, but I'm not sure that is true. However, this exposure sounds like it will be good for you. Let us know how it comes out!
