Online billing software & backups

For those who use online billing software....Do you make hard copies of everything as backup or can you backup your data other than just to their servers?  I'm thinking of going with online software, but just a little leery of whether I would be able to have my own backup copy of my files.

PMRNC:
Depends on the PM System, some you can export data in certain forms, when available yes, I do create backup. The company always provides a backup service as well within their software/server.
