I haven't read Paul's book so I can't comment on it.  What 'level' are you at?  Do you have any experience?  Have you decided for sure on this business or are you looking for info to help make a decision?

I am currently in the research phase.  Looking for as much information as possible to see if I can develop a viable business plan and move forward with opening a billing business.  I currently have another business that does not require much time to run and is virtually on "autopilot", so I can afford to take my time, do some homework, and see if this is something I want to put energy and resources into.

That being said, I do have marketing/sales experience from my other businesses which would be applicable to getting a billing business going.  So, I am looking for a book that lays out all the details of the billing business from A to Z so that I can become more educated on the industry as a whole.  I do have a friend that used to be involved in billing/coding (awhile back) that I am able to bounce questions off of, however, I need some literature (as current as possible) that can educate me on everything billing/coding related.

Any input is appreciated.

Well, as I said I haven't read Paul's book.

Thanks for the response.  The main reason I was looking into this book was because it is linked on the medicalbillingcourse.com site.  So I figured it would be very comprehensive and thorough as I have heard the medicalbillingcourse.com is a great resource.

Any other up to date/recent books that can help in my educating myself on the entire business?
