How long to keep documents

How long should we keep EOB's?  What about copies of the client's superbills?  Once they're are entered into our system is it necessary to keep?

Source Documents need to be kept 7 years (I think it's actually 7 years , 3 months) HOWEVER if your state guidelines/reg's is more it would supersede the federal time line.
