OK, great--per claim isn't difficult, but who in the HECK wants to keep up with how many claims you send out per month...UUGH
No, you only need to know the UB04 depending on the type of services you are billing. I bill facility charges so I have to use it. Ironically some payors make me use the cms 1500, so its tricky...not really good for the new biller

Some DME is great for newbies. AFO's KaFO's, diabetic supplies,
General Intern is pretty straight forward billing

Dyann, you can also look in the forum for previous posts on % billing and flat fee billing as there have been many formula's posting. You really don't need a book for this :)  The formula is very basic and can be based on a few things *Your choice :)
