I am having a hard time getting Medicare to pay for a house visit. Using code 99334. Place of service 12. Any suggestions?

Is it a house visit, or an assisted facility? The code you use, 99334 is for a rest home, so wouldn't be place of service 12. If it's the patient's home, you would use 99341 for new patient, 99347 for established.

you also have to show medical necessity for the home visit.
