Hello All,

I have been working in Health Care for over ten years for other companies and I am interested in starting my own Medical Business Business. Can anyone give me some tips and/or lessons learned in this process? What are some of the risks involved?

As with any business there is always a risk starting out. Of course with starting a medical billing company you will want to be fully compliant with state, federal reg's, HIPAA compliance, etc. You will want a compliance plan, contracts, etc. You should also research laws/reg's in your state.  Having a good attorney to help you put things together of course is always recommended.
