not just your current needs, must think about future. Kareo is great, but one thing I tell people is not to expect much in the way of training, they have a unique manner to which they work, they assume you have experience, you can get training contained to the software exclusively, but if you are working with medical billing course you will get a broader training with their software. But Kareo is EXCELLENT it's just they are not the greatest to start out with if you have never done billing at all. JMO With DAQ you will get all your updates, and mind you with the per database charge you will pass that charge on to your client.. keep that in mind when making your decision. DO put the demo's to the test and don't just take others word, it has to be right for you with 1 client or 20..that's key. YOU don't want to skimp on costs now to go through an expensive and time consuming conversion later.. I did this several times insisting to myself I would save money.. I did not and if I could go back and do it all over again, I would not have opened my door for business until I had the money for the software I needed. Also billing companies today must learn to be diversified..that means ready to work with provider's already in house software or PM systems.. as you go a long and gain experience you will be able to use most programs/systems. You don't ever want to turn a client away because they don't want to use your software, I see billing companies doing this all the time and I think it's crazy!
