Does anyone know how to bill mental health for a adult daycare program which they do counseling I have a new client I am signing up next week on 4.23.11 she was a referral from one of my other clients so far she does straight Medicaid and would like me to add her on other insurance panels. Please help

What type of provider, what are her credentials?

She' a counselor and LCSW

I don't believe adult day care is a covered expense under health insurance and I'm not aware of any cpt code for it. However, if the counselor is an LCSW and they are performing individual psychotherapy they can bill for the 90801, 90804, 90806 or 90808 for whatever describes the service.
PMRNC:
Right, be careful here because it's like nursing home.. Medicare is highly aware of services of elder's in nursing homes and facilities.. ie; dementia... etc.
