Multiple family counseling-kids not present
« on: September 20, 2011, 04:35:42 PM »
A psychiatrist is seeing a group of families, but the patients (their teenage children) are not present.  Is 90849 approriate?  Or would we need to stick with 90846?

Thank you!

I WOULD USE 90849 SINCE IT IS MORE THAN 1 FAMILY.

Thank you, Regina.  That's what I was thinking, but I wanted a second opinion.
