LMSW and LPC

I will be doing the billing for one LMSW and two LPCs. I just want to verify the right modifiers. I currently do the billing for a clinical psychologist for another company and I know we put the AH modifier on each claim.

For the LMSW the modifer would be AJ on each claim
and for the LPCs the modifier would be UD on each claim

Is this correct?

The AJ modifier would be correct.  I am not familiar with the AH modifier and couldn't find any info on it.  I found two different uses for the UD modifier, but neither fits your description.

1:  When billing for the attending ED physician E&M service, the modifier UD must be used with the appropriate E&M procedure code to designate that the patient was released (discharged) from the ED

2:  Use the “UD” modifier for any physician-administered drugs billed with J codes

ok thank you. do you happen to know which modifier would be used for a licensed professional counselor?

I am not aware of a modifier for LPC's.

so it would just be the procedure code like 90806 with no modifier?
