AI Modifier

Hi,
I understand we will need to use AI modifier for Medicare to use to identify the Principal Physician on Record. But is this a requirement as well for the Medicare Advantage Plans?

My understanding is that you bill the same codes for Advantage plans as you do for Medicare.

Michele:
I have found that MOST MCR Advantage Plans follow the Medicare guidelines including Modifier use, but not all.  I would use any modifiers that you use for Medicare when billing the Advantage Plans.
