Has anyone had an experience with an appeal going to the level of an ALJ?

What is an ALJ, is that a title from a specific carrier?

If I am not wrong, Administrative Law Judge is the last level of appealing with Medicare. I have not come across that scenario. Sorry.  :(

Ahh.. and it was right in the subject and I missed it.. oops sorry!    No experience with that either but it's hard to even offer feedback without details.
