Capitation Payment

Can anyone please tell me how to post a capitation check?

It will depend on your software.  What is the capitation check from?

it's from Blue Care Network.

Did you receive any type of training or support from your software vendor, that's where you would need to find out the answer. I always post capitation payments to each patient's account and depending if the patient needed a claim filed (some HMO's require an actual claim and some don't) I will then post to that claim. I also always make sure the capitation is identified as a capitation pmt and using the carrier name as well such as BCCAPPMT
