DME Patient Coinsurance Billing after Medicare Payment

Any one have any prescriptive steps for balance billing DME Medicare patients?

Michele:
Are you asking about a system for patient billing?  For us it doesn't matter what the service was (Office visits or DME) we have a patient billing system.  We bill out initially explaining what they are being billed for.  30 days later a "friendly reminder" and then 30 days later "final notice".
