Is it possible to have 2 different Medicaid Policies
« on: June 15, 2012, 01:36:11 PM »
Let's say you have a residence in AZ as well as some sort of address in NM. Could you apply and receive Medicaid from both states? So I guess my question is simply, can a person have 2 or more different Medicaids. At first, my thought was no, because it would be based on their residential address, but they could possibly have a residence in 2 different states. Thanks.

I would believe that having Medicaid in two different states would be fraud.  I believe the Medicaid application asks if you have or are eligible for Medicaid in any other state.
